Imogen Wiltshire

Assistant Principal (Raising Achievement)

Imogen Wiltshire is Assistant Principal (Raising Achievement) and Teacher of History.

Imogen trained as a History teacher at the University of East Anglia after studying History at the University of Leeds. She later completed a Master’s degree in Medieval and Early Modern Studies at the University of Kent, further developing her academic interest in the subject.

Before joining Jane Austen College, Imogen spent five years as Head of History at a school just outside Norwich. She joined Jane Austen as Assistant Principal, bringing with her a deep passion for History teaching and curriculum development.

At Jane Austen, Imogen’s role has expanded to focus on raising achievement for all pupils. She is a strong believer in the power of an outstanding education to open doors and create lifelong opportunities for young people.

Working at Jane Austen and within the Inspiration Trust enables Imogen to collaborate with colleagues who share her ambition: ensuring every pupil, regardless of background, achieves the very best possible GCSE outcomes.
