Admission Arrangements for 2022/23:

From 2021, for a September 2022 start, to apply for a place at Jane Austen College you will need to do two things.  You must:

Both complete the Norfolk County Council application, as normal, when the admission round opens.

AND

Then complete a short "fair access banding" test.

What is “fair access banding”?  This is when each applicant sits a short test which places them into a banding based on the outcome.  The school then takes an equal number of students from each band to ensure that our intake remains fully comprehensive. This isn't a pass or fail test and students and parents should not be concerned about it at all.

You will be invited to register for this test after the 31st October.
