Electives, Trips & Prep

Electives

Our electives are high quality clubs and activities which students can choose from. Participation in electives is optional but we find that many students choose to take part due to the varied and fun activities provided. Electives take place after school hours on Mondays,Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Students choose their electives at the start of each term and then refresh at the start of the next term. (Autumn Term, Spring Term, Summer Term).

Whatever your passion and interest, you will be able to develop it at Jane Austen College. Why not let us know if there's a club or activity you'd like us to offer as part of our extra-curricular programme?

We are introducing a new way of booking Electives on MyChildAtSchool (MCAS). Places will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Electives will ONLY be available to book and give consent for on MCAS. Here is a useful guide to help you get started:

Prep

We offer a place in school every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for our students to do their homework after school. This runs from when school ends up until 5:30pm. This gives students an opportunity to have a quiet space to do their homework. Prep is not compulsory and it is open to any student who would like to join.

If you would like to sign up for sessions, please email enrichmentandcurriculum@janeaustencollege.co.uk
